    Alicia Keys Reflects on Her Musical and Personal Journey on ‘Oprah’s Master Class’ (Full Episode)




    Alicia Keys tells her life story and breaks down her rise to an illustrious career on the season premiere of “Oprah’s Master Class.” The 14-time Grammy Award-winner speaks on being raised in the tough Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, being raised in a bi-racial family, her first introduction to music, and meeting her mentor Clive Davis for the first-time.
    The R&B singer discusses the tough decision to tell her mother the choice of music over college, and the unique way she broke the news. Oprah flashes back to  2001 as Keys made her first major television appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” On the relationship side, Alicia opens up on the moment she fell in love with husband Swizz Beatz, and the lessons he’s taught her.
