    J. Cole’s ‘Playful’ Reaction “Somebody’s Gonna Die”

    J. Cole simply doesn’t care. The North Carolina MC spent sometime in Atlanta over the weekend, and caught up with DJ Drama for an on-air interview. During their discussion they spoke on his new “Power Trip” single with Miguel came about, which Cole reveals his manager Mark Pitts and Jay-Z suggested the “Adorn” singer to co-star on. The two also touch on working with Lil’ Wayne on Dedication 4, his joint album with Kendrick Lamar, what he would’ve change on his debut album, and of course, his reaction to MTV’s “Hottest MC’s in the Game” list.
“I don’t know, but I don’t really give a f**k. It is what it is. Think about it, from what they say, it’s the past year, I’ve had a quiet year. But still, I should be on there. I don’t give a f**k, DJ Drama…..they’re still gonna die.  They’re fu**ng dead, and I’m gonna kill them.”
Listen J. Cole sound off and read more of his reaction on MTV’s list below……
“We shouldn’t talk about this anymore. They want this, f**k these guys. By the way nobody’s competing, some of these guys you putting up against each other are from different fu**ing planets. They shouldn’t even be in the same conversation, so what are they really talking about. Future doesn’t even give a f**k about Kanye. They don’t even interrupt each others’ lives and they’re not competing on the same level. So what are you doing? I don’t really know.”
