Pusha T sat down with Boost Mobile for their new Be Heard session. Always with the dope insight, Pusha recalled writing his first rap, for a song called “Thief of the Night,” after seeing his older brother No Malice rap with Timbaland and Pharrell in middle school (Malice would then encourage Pusha to form a duo with him… and we all know how that story unfolds), spoke on how “fulfilling” it is to see a fan have the same connection with his rhymes as he does, and emphasized the importance of social media. Pusha then spit his second verse from “Doesn’t Matter” a capella style.
Pusha T’s new mixtape, Wrath of Caine, is out now, while his debut solo album, My Name Is My Name, is expected to arrive in May.
Watch Pusha T’s Be Heard session after the jump…
