Hit ‘Em Up - Tyga Feat. Jadakiss & 2Pac (Audio+Video)

Tyga holds off on the April Fools trickery, instead delivering a new cut from his Hotel California album. Produced by DJ Mustard, the Last King calls on Jadakiss on “Hit ‘Em Up.” The piano-driven street cut also features unreleased vocals from the late Tupac Shakur, not to be confused with 2Pac’s scathing 90s diss song aimed at Bad Boy Records. When discussing the record with MTV News, T-Raww reveals how he obtained Tupac’s vocals and original intent to have his labelmate Nicki Minaj featured on it.

“I wanted Nicki to be on the song at first and then we never did it, so then I went back to the song later. I sent it to Jadakiss and after that I was done with the song and then I had came across some ‘Pac vocals from a friend. I was like, ‘Man this would be dope,’ but I didn’t really know how to use it properly.”

Hitting shelves in eight days (Apr. 9) Tyga’s Hotel California will feature appearances from Lil’ Wayne, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Jadakiss, Future and more.
