Nicki Minaj: “Khaled Was Not Serious With That Damn Proposal, Y’all!”

Shortly after “I Wanna Be With You” dropped , Nicki Minaj called into Funkmaster Flex‘s Hot97 show to clear up DJ Khaled’s “proposal.” Young Money’s First Lady laughed off the whole thing as a publicity stunt and assured everyone that Khaled doesn’t actually want to tie the knot with her (after all, he already has a wife).

I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world because Khaled is a master at what he does… Let me set the record straight: Khaled is my brother, ok? And Khaled was not serious with damn proposal, y’all! Please let it go, he was kidding!… It was just another way for him to give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record. He’s not attracted to me, he doesn’t love me, we’re brother and sister.

During the interview, Nicki also shared her thoughts on Drake’s seemingly distant relationship with Young Money and her new twerking hobby.
