Drake on Kanye West: “Maybe We Do Music Now, Like We Were Supposed To”

    Drake Kanye West
As Ernest Baker brilliantly explored in his Myspace article, it definitely seems like there’s been a little back-and-forth going on between Kanye West and Drake these past few years. But at last night’s epic OVO Fest, Yeezy and Drizzy put rumors of bad blood to bed by trading compliments on stage in front of the sell-out crowd.
Shortly after his headlining performance, Revolt TV caught up with Drake to get more of his thoughts on Mr. West. He reveals that the pair didn’t even speak before sharing the stage, because “in rap, sometimes we don’t communicate enough.” He goes on to call the moment surreal and praise Kanye as his biggest influence, even just through studying his moves.
Now that the “cold war” has thawed, so to speak, Drizzy is optimistic about collaborating with Kanye again.
Who knows where this goes? Maybe we do music now, like we were supposed to. It’s a good thing, man.
