Vali: An In-Depth Look at an Upcoming Artist out of NY

So for a while I have been wanting to write a post about this young talent I heard about, named Vali.
She was a girl I had heard some song months ago, on some random Pandora station, and I was like wait who was that, I like that song. Never thought about her again. Until I recently heard her name again like "OH YEAH!" I like that song.. the song was "Shut it Down".

Which until recently also; I never knew there was a video for, but I seen the below interview on "The Breakfast Club" and was like wow then dove a little deeper into her back story and she appealed more and more. To the point that i could say I like her music. She's talented, she has star potential. Check out the below video from The Breakfast Club:

I don't know y'all for some weird strange reason this girl appeals to me. She's signed to Rostrum Records which houses artists like Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. Her sound is catchy yet appealing, out there yet, strong enough for people to grasp and be like "aight I see where she at".

Starting out as a dancer…(a hip-hop dancer), she worked her way into the eyes of a record exec Benjy Grinberg on a plane ride, heard some of her tracks, put her on some of Wiz's early mix tape hooks, and the rest became history.

From busting' dishes at a T.G.I. Fridays to RnB/Pop singer, Vali who in my eyes is a force to be reckoned with in the future be on the lookout. And remember you heard it hear first.

Check out some of her tracks and videos after the break:
