Miguel: "No Regrets" Over Frank Ocean Grammy Diss
Miguel isn't losing any sleep over his apparent diss of Frank Ocean at the Grammy Awards.
When asked by TMZ if the singer has any regrets over throwing shade at Ocean when the Channel Orange artist beat him in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category, Miguel responds with a quick and decisive, "no."
Viewers will remember that Miguel refused to clap for Ocean when he won, despite the fact that the rest of the audience gave him a standing ovation.
The songwriter-turned-solo artist, who has had huge success this past year with his debut album,All I Want is You, did manage to muster a positive word for Ocean for TMZ's camera. "Congratulations to Frank, though," he said, before adding that he couldn't bring himself to applaud him at the Grammys because of his own "competitive nature."
We get the disappointment, but Miguel better be careful about being a sore loser or he may wind up facing pin-drop silence the next time he wins an award!
