Following the news his Nothing Was the Same LP is now delayed by a week, Drake reveals the dual-covers to his junior effort now arriving on September 24. The dual-covers designed by Kadir Nelson illustrate the past and present. The standard artwork depicts Drake as a child with a big afro and comb along a clear blue sky, as the deluxe cover is more of a present look with Drizzy’s recent trademark hair part.
The follow-up to 2011′s double-platinum Take Care will feature confirmed appearances from Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, Hudson Mohawke, Noah “40″ Shebib, and Hit-Boy. Drake was announced earlier on Wednesday as a performer as the MTV’s Video Music Awards this Sunday at 8 p.m. EST live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
BONUS: Kadir Nelson‘s also designed the cover artwork featured on the album MICHAEL, Michael Jackson’s first posthumous album release.
