Lady Gaga “Applause” (VIDEO)

Half a decade into her career and Lady Gaga hasn’t lost her ability to completely weird everyone out. Debuted last week — a whole seven days earlier than expected — the Fame Monster’s new single, “Applause,” gets a typically bizarre visual makeover, which finds Ms. Gaga wearing an inflatable pillow, dancing semi-nude and appearing from a magician’s hat wearing a tail. But they aren’t even the most eyebrow-raising parts: she also transforms into a swan (yeah, a swan) halfway through the video.

Gaga’s upcoming fourth album, Artpop, arrives November 11.
